Open Gardens & Classic Cars 2022

The Open Gardens and Classic Car show was cancelled last year because of Covid but this year it was up and running - and it was good!  More gardens than ever before were open and there were approximately 240 classic cars on the playing field.  There were eight gardens to view, one featured a small model railway demonstration, a Pimms bar in another garden and croquet and bowls in yet another.  A talented young man from the village gave a wonderful organ recital in the Church. The community centre was open for teas and cakes and entertainment was provided there by superb local musicians.  Up on the playing field, apart from the amazing cars, motor bikes and other vehicles, there was a beer tent and music was performed by two local bands.   None of this would have been possible without an army of volunteers who worked very hard to make a day to remember.  Roll on 2024!
